AHC - Mrs. Melton and Monkey

Monkey is a very old Chihuahua belonging to Mrs. Melton. Mrs. Melton was visiting her sister, Alma Carter, from Homerville and Lakeland when Monkey got sick. Dr. Richards ran tests on her and told Mrs. Melton that Monkey needed fluids. Mrs. Melton knew that Monkey would not be comfortable without her so she spent a morning at Animal Health Center holding Monkey as the fluids were given. One of the exam rooms was made into a hospital room with Monkey's bed and favorite afghan, the I.V. pump with fluids and a pillow and magazines for Mrs. Melton. Mrs. Melton reported that she even napped along with Monkey while the fluids were given! This is just one way Animal Health Center carries out our slogan of "Caring Together".
