Jiminy is a wonderful dog I got from the Burbank Animal Shelter (actually, I spent the night
in my car to be first in line to get her. It was love at first sight!) Like a Sheltie, Jiminy
tries to stay a few feet away from me at all times so she is available if I need her! A friend
of mine has accidentally locked her outside a few times. Each time, she merely sits by the front
door, "woofing" in a low voice until we hear her and let her in. She has been traveling
with me in a motorhome for the past year, and is a wonderful traveler. She has a rug on the front
dash. She loves to lay there and watch America go by!
Jiminy, a Sheltie-mix, was rescued by Ann Fowler on December 16, 1994.
