When Amy and Lonnie Shinn moved to South Georgia form West Virginia in 1993, they were newlyweds. Amy says she was working in the flower beds the second day in their new home when a scruffy little kitten wandered up to love on her. Amy and Lonnie advertised in the paper to try to find the owners of the kitten. A couple came to claim him but didn't get out of the driveway with him before returning him to the Shinn's. He must have told them who he loved best. His name comes from his vocabulary: he says "Ral"! As you can tell he has turned into a beautiful and well cared for member of their family.
