I guess the best story is when I had to go out of town on business for four days. I knew Mikey was too young to leave at home alone, so I had a young gentleman who works for me to "cat-sit". I thought I had given good kitten instructions. I gave feeding instructions. I told him to check the fridge before he closed it. I told him to to check the stove before he closed it and before he turned it on. I told him to check the dishwasher before he closed it or turned it on. I forgot about the microwave. I come home and everything appears to be fine. The next day at work, I found out "Randy" had MICROWAVED my cat!!!

It seems he had cooked something, turned around to put it on the counter and reached back to close the microwave door. As soon as he closed it, he saw a tail wagging in the window and immediately opened it again. It was less than one second. The Vet says Mikey is fine and..... Mikey doesn't try to climb in the microwave anymore!!!
