As we gather more information on all the new topical adult flea medicines such as
Advantage and Frontline it becomes apparent that many people are pleased with using
just Program or either Advantage or Frontline. We have noticed that the
pet owners with the greatest degree of satisfaction are using Program and Advantage
or Frontline. Program in addition to Advantage or Frontline is doing the best job
on controlling fleas in dogs and cats.
Now that Sentinel combines Program (the "flea pill") with Interceptor,
dog owners will have the convenience of giving the monthly heartworm pill and
flea pill all in one tablet. Animal Health Center will be offering Sentinel to
those pet owners who prefer the convenience of one pill per month rather than two.
Most of the people we have talked to are excited about the release of Sentinel.
If you are interested please call the staff at Animal Health Center or consult
your regular veterinarian. At this time Sentinel is only for the use in dogs.
