Critter Chronicles

Where do you buy their food?

Why buy Science Diet food from Animal Health Center instead of a pet shop or feed store? Here are only a few of the reasons:

  • Loyalty program pays you $20.00 per year for each pet on Science Diet.
  • You receive a free bag of food from Hill's on your pet's birthday.
  • Hill's provides free gifts occasionally for us to reward frequent food purchasers.
  • Weekly food orders insure freshness.
  • You receive a minimum of $12 worth of coupons per year from Hills.
Our prices are competitive with area retailers.

Short takes!

We send a big thank you to Skippy and Robbie McMillan for the generous donation of towels. During Skippy's illness a few months ago, his family realized that we use lots of towels for the comfort of our patients. We never seem to have enough towels, and of course after many washings, they become somewhat ragged. If you have any extra towels around, we would appreciate your bringing them to us. Our patients would be greatly indebted to you.

Risk Factor Management and Wellness for longer life

Most of you are now aware that pets live longer and happier than ever before. Good health and a quality life can be enhanced by risk factor management (decreasing health risks).

Allow all of us at Animal Health Center to share the responsibility for your pet's lifetime of good health. AHC is more than just a veterinary hospital. The primary focus we have is as a "learning center." By excelling in technology, continuing education, bringing in specialists, and providing a trained staff, we want to form a health care team with you - a long term commitment.

Risk factor management's advantage to the pet is threefold:

Over the next few months and years you will be hearing more and more from us about Risk Factor Management for without it you pet may not live long enough to need our services.

Risk Factor Management begins now, from the point you join our team commitment for good heath. Special emphasis must be placed at 7 years of age and older when most pets' bodies require more periodic monitoring, and life style changes create new risks.

Let us all join forces today for that long commitment to keep our child-like furry friends happy and healthy.

We want to be your other "family doctor."
